Based on the tremendous success of the Nicholls State University Foundation, in conjunction with the Nicholls Chef John Folse Culinary Institute (CJFCI), trip to France in April of 2018, a trip to Italy in April of 2019 is now scheduled and the Nicholls Alumni Federation will be joining the group.
Once again, Chef John Kozar, Department Head of the Nicholls CJFCI, will be part of the team on this enjoyable and gastronomical experience.
The trip will be April 3rd – 12th with the group spending two nights in Venice, two nights in Florence and 4 nights in Rome. Highlights of the trip currently include a walking tour of Venice, the island of Murano, a tour of a vineyard in Tuscany, a scheduled audience with Pope Francis, the Scavi Tour, five dinners including some at special restaurants, airfare from New Orleans, transfers, daily breakfast and much more. Price for the trip is $3,985 per person based on double occupancy.
